Also metacritic doesn't really work for actors/actresses because they don't make the films they just play the role. If you were comparing directors I'd understand but...
They don't give good roles to good actors/actresses. Crap movies go to crap actors/actresses. Hence julipanned's lacklustre career.
Weinstein's relevance is faded. He's lucky he's nabbed two supposedly great roles that I think will get nominated (Mara's character in Carol and Marion Cotillard as "the definitive Lady Macbeth"). Remember when he was trying his hardest to get Leo DiCaprio nominated for Django Unchained and even said "leave Leo to me" only for him to not get nominated? I mean, at least Waltz's superior performance got nommed and won but still.

Nah, that's not true and you know it. Julianne probably just goes to those movies because she can make a quick buck.
Also as she's shown last year she's perfectly capable of elevating a crap movie to oscar status. Plus she won the triple crown in europe which is HUGE.
Half of her roles always seem to have some sort of sexual kink to it lol.
