My first memory of Rihanna is my sister's friend being into SOS and I was so annoyed because I was 8 or 9 back then and it was really EVERYWHERE and during that time I was kinda into German rap
Then later I reminisce bopping to Umbrella and Take A Bow, but me actually starting to be a fan and paying attention to her happened in 2009 before Rated R came out because the guy I used to date back then was quite a stan and I kinda picked it up. So I got Rated R through a friend and lost track until Only Girl came out, which made me buy Loud because it was released on my Birthday and my mother would pay for it. I lost track again until I heard WFL on the radio which immediately impacted me and in that moment I practically sold my soul to ha and I've been a true stan ever since

I'm the only person in the world who is still super excited for R8 and I'm not even a big Rihanna fan

this is when I really started to (unofficially) stan for her. i was hype for the remix and listened to it, along with a lot of other TTT songs, on YouTube all the damn time. she was one of the first people to put audio videos up, at least that's how I remember it

I was a Drake stan from late 2009 to early 2012 and I truly stanned for WMN. I bought it the week it was released, not because of Aubrey but because I loved the song

I remember I was watching the 2011 Grammys and my power went out right before the WMN performance I was so pissed. I had practically memorized that behind the scenes video of their rehearsal and then I couldn't even watch it live

I've been stanning since Pon de Replay when I was in the 8th grade. Such a legendary artist.
