I always saw people in this kind of forums saying that Celine lipsyncs a lot in her shows, but i thought they were just exaggerating and didnt properly research until now. I just realized that she in fact does lipsync, and she does more than i ever thought she did

But it seems weird, because artists like Britney and Mariah are usually torn apart whenever they are caught lip-syncing, yet Celine is more times than not praised for her amazing live vocals even when she is not singing live at all. Why does she get away with it while the others do not?

Because she doesn't have anything to be dragged about. She has proven she's one of the world's top female vocalists, she has one of the most successful pop careers of all time, she has kept a classy and clean image and she's still relevant despite not having a single hit song in over 15 years.

Even if she's lipping now it doesn't matter because she doesn't have a diva attitude like Mariah does.

Mariah is dragged because shes more relevant and respected than Celine. Shes treated like a new artist. It was nothing to do with attitude or being humble. Celine lips more than Mariah. lol
