Was there ever a song that rebounded hard on radio?
Like it was getting poor updates the first few weeks and then gradually blew up?
"Worth It" and "Elastic Heart" are doing that right now. They both get consistently positive scores on Rate The Music and now they're coming back from the dead.
For PG to rebound on radio they probably need a remix with better instruments. PG has good vocals but sonically, the music is not that impressive or appealing.
