im not hoping for anything but if the performance was supposed to be at the axis and the thing on friday was a dress rehearsal wouldn't that mean if the performance was at the axis there would have been emails sent out for people to attend in the audience for tonight?

They have a skit at the Axis. They'll get "transported" to Iggy Azalea's home planet, which will be at the MGM Grand. So the performance will be started with the pre-recorded bit but they will be live at the Billboard Music Awards for the performance.
Y'all may be onto something. Maybe the performance will begin in Vegas to give Vegas promotion (which is what all of this era is for, let's face it), then they will be "teleported" to the bbma stage and continue a short performance from there.
Wouldn't be the worst idea and if she served Live/pre-recorded vocals while at Vegas the LIFE she'd give me ....
