I don't understand why Spain submits bops almost every year and doesn't do well. HOW did 2002's "Europe's Living a Celebration" only place 7th? And 2003's "Dime" almost missed the top 10 when it could've easily been a European hit

t.A.T.u were already famous in all Europe, I was surprised they didn't win. Sertab deserved her victory with that flawless performance... I didn't know a muslim country would allow a performance showing so much skin then I went to Istanbul last year and I swear Turkish girls tend to show even more skin than the Italians, and not even to be ****ty or anything, just because it's the fashion

Sis, Turkey is secular...well more back then. I heard TRT was PISSED at Hadise's outfit especially since they gave her full control and she kept it under wraps until it was too late to do anything - supposedly that's why Turkey never went back to a female singer 2010-2012

Hadise was sick so she sang quieter in the chorus, but instead of hearing female vocals the loudest voice is the man in the back's Whose idea was it to put a male backing vocalist? The point is for them to sound as close to the main singer as possible to enhance the lead's voice in the speakers
