It wasn't bad or great either. It was above average, though. She did her job by promoting her songs on SNL final, and that's the important thing. Besides, we're talking about SNL stage not the Grammys or the VMAs to be sad of the performance was lacking of production or dancers or energy etc. It's just a small stage that an artist can do little to make a show. I mean yeah they definitely weren't bad. If I'm being technical then they were good. She was in key, in tune, not pitchy, hell she didn't even sound winded during the moving around of BBHMM. I can tell her technique has come a long way because she was pretty consistent throughout.

I only think she could've given a little more energy but that's literally the only problem I saw If id even call it a "problem".

She promoted and I'm glad she did. I enjoy watching her at every turn throughout an era.

I liked the outfit choice for AO. It was the right thing to wear for such a ''slow'' performance. But I wish she used her dress and moved her arms etc during the verses (and by moving her arms I don't mean her usual arm movements during the actual permormance, I mean something choreographic and looks elegant) . It would look beautiful. Why does she stand like that?

Anyways I'm not mad at her over SNL. I got used to hoping for the best but expecting the worst so I was prepared for everything i guess and these were above avarage performances for Rih. I just thought she would be more passionate about performing these ''timeless'' songs that she wants to sing even ten years after today.

So ive just watched the performances and I would've rather have watched paint dry.

BBHMM was so lifeless due to the ridiculously low key it was performed in, I would understand if the song was vocally demanding but it's not...lowering the key was totally unnessisary.

American Oxygen should never ever be performed live again, such a snooze plus Rih sounded awful.

Disappointment after disappointment just lately she needs to get her **** together.

I didn't even said it was great or her best. I just said it wasn't that bad. Can she do better? Yes. Is that her best performance? No. Was the performance tragic or bad? No.

The thing about that tracklist and story is that it came from 4chan. 4chan isn't exactly filled with pop music fans. They're not the kind of people to even know a Rihanna album is meant to come out soon, let alone bother making up a fake tracklist and all that. That's what makes it so believable.
