No she did! She just never ever read my last message.

I don't have the stomach to open my iMessage and check back if she ever did.

It took me a long ****ing time to get myself past the looming fear of embarrassment and rejection, and now all I have to show for it is hurt pride and unsureness about what to do next.

How does this read receipt thing work on text messages?

You send a iMessage and it says delivered and then read if they open it. It's like confirmation. It causes so much drama when it comes to relationships and stuff, though.
