It's a dress rehearsal according to most people. Billboard Brazil (verified acc) also confirmed it will be live from the BBMAs and it wouldn't make sense for her to pre-record the performance when she's attending the show.
btw J.Lo confirmed she wil have 40 dates in 2016 ( just like Britney was first contract ) so i guess if show is sucesfull she will add more date. And she said its for more years.

Stans always overhype ****, my friend was there she said it was fun and colorful but there wasn't any big dance breaks or insane props. Luda introduces them, Britney looked good in a black cut out outfit with long hair, iggy was wearing a sliver skirt outfit and they went through the rehearsal 3 times
Britney will perform live on stage at the BBMAs, she or her team can't be that pathetic. I will quit stanning if she pre records, will be the last straw!
