I really thought Uptown Funk could break the 6 million downloads record too, but it's slowing down. After 26 weeks it sits at 5.779 million, meaning it needs to sell 221,000 downloads, or an average of close to 74 k per week the next three weeks to set to set the record at 29 weeks. BL did so in 30 weeks. I'm hoping the nomination at the BBMAs can boost the song, along with some leftover weekend effect each week. It'll be close.

It's super corny and not even Roar type or corny roar was a fun/current type of corny... this one feels like one of those self empowerment songs that came out years ago and everyone was releasing.

At this point, that's the only thing I see happening. I don't think anything else from the BBMAs will get a significant boost to knock him off of the HDS #1. He will be dipping below 200k in a couple of weeks, so it should be "easier" for someone to snatch it away from him by then.

However, if Grammy Blood hits iTunes directly after the BBMAs, then it's game over.
