You guys are too much. Don't you get it at this point? Besides, they made it clear before the era anyway. A lot of artists these days are releasing their albums in a non-traditional way focusing on singles rather than full albums. Marina did it, Britney's doing it, the list goes on. Clearly its not working out so well for Rihanna, but part of that has to do with the lead single being kind of wack. Anyway, its really tripping me out how overdramatic everyones being about this new record. Like waiting 4-5 months after the first single release isn't exactly something new, 6 months from when Froot dropped as a lead single and 4 month wait for Born This Way after its lead single, the list goes on. Its not that big of a deal. Clearly shes going for a surprise release, we all already knew that. Everyone needs to like chill the hell out. Like obviously the singles so far aren't doing exceedingly well by Rihannas standards but neither did Rated R's.....who is to say she wont have a Rude Boy for this era? Why is everyone jumping at the chance to write her off? Its so weird. Especially considering how incredibly popular she is regardless of this albums supposed floppage.
