Having hosted The Lambily Awards for three consecutive years, let me tell you that it's a lot easier to have a committee of objective people nominate versus having everyone nominate whoever they wanted. In the first Lambily Awards, I had everyone nominate who they wanted and as a result, we have 50 million people per category.
My methodology is similar to how the real world works. We have choices but we choose from a select few options.
In any case, it's just recommendation, you don't have to take anything I say to heart.
