The thing is it's awkward for Gaga because she's never said a bad word about Madonna, yet Madonna has ALWAYS been asked about her and has honestly answered - which is fine, but it's awkward when Gaga knows M has been rude. I suppose deep down they truly are really similar, and it's ridiculous for them not to support each other. One person can't "own" reinventing themselves.

it's so sad how atrl and a lot of little monsters always turned this around.
Madonna has only talked about the song itself. gaga talked about madonna on stern and it became so personal and dramatic. now that was rude. a bunch of people attacking madonna. imagine if madonna did that, calling gaga jealous and bad mouthing her like that on live radio..
but for some reason gaga's allowed to do that. actually, everyone is allowed to shade other artists but madonna isn't allowed to repeat what everyone said about btw/ey and just say something about a song.
I've noticed that so many times.
cher also said rude and personal comments about madonna and monsters and other fans love her for it. they love it when singers shade each other. yet the things that she said were superficial and close to bullying "she's ugly" etc. which one would think is against the monster policy of being anti bullying.
but saying one song is like another song and suddenly madonna is "rude".. makes sense..
gaga's people also said ageist things about madonna on twitter (such as "old hag", old lady meds) things like that. gaga should be happy madonna is big enough of a person to make the first step to make things better for the sake of fans anyway.. because the personal attacks against her were very low.. very.
if anyone told your mom to "take their old lady meds" and called her an "old hag", i don't think you would be okay with that either. right?
some people acted like gaga is the "poor" victim in all of this, but she really copied madonna. and madonna called her out with a wink, but it wasn't personal. yet she got attacked for it non stop. but gaga & her people using ageist comments and using personal attacks against madonna is somehow "okay". and that after all the ideas/inspiration/songs she took of her.. and then thanking whitney.. really, gaga is a shady/passive aggressive person and I won't change my opinion about that. hope they're really cool now and fans can move on, but I still had to have my say on this because i don't like how the media/fans manipulated this whole thing.
