She's pretty much confirmed that it'll be released this year. My guess is late summer/fall considering she's starting to talk about it more (Christina never mentions anything unless there's an actual product in front of her). She mentioned that she's releasing "personal videos" soon in a recent interview.

But X is notoriously unpredictable with her releases so your guess is as good as any of ours!

I was listening to Bionic today... I hadn't listened to it in quite some time and I was quite surprised by how good it is and how well it's aging.

I think Christina was kind of right. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it was ahead of its time and her vision does get clearer in time, now that we're 4.5 years away from the Bionic gate

All I Need hit me HARD all over again and My Girls, which I usually skip, is actually super cute!

The only disposable songs on Bionic are Desnudate, I Hate Boys, NMT (although I've grown to appreciate NMT and its MV) and Primadonna imo. Which is interesting, because these are the songs that her label sent to her after she had already completed Bionic..



Proof that RCA should never interfere with X's creative process!



I hate Elastic Trash but I will admit that it's experimental/innovative.

I love all of those songs you mentioned, except I Hate Boys.



Bionic has a lot of great songs to work out to. Anyone that hates Bionic clearly does not care about their physical fitness.

She had all these amazing events going on with the Oscars after party, Nashville, the People cover, the promo for The Voice, Fallon etc, so she could have used the buzz to at least release some sort of buzz single

I'm just hoping that this summer will be dedicated to finishing the album, and not The Voice.



She can return to that redneck cesspool of a show all she wants, once she serves us a proper era.



Hopefully, the show will be cancelled by then.
