It was on KNOU, also known as NOW 96.3. 96.3 used to be a classic rock station and is currently blowing up here because it changed to Top 40 and is trying to compete with Z1077 (KSLZ). They do 60 minutes commercial free, tons of giveaways, etc.
Z1077 here doesn't actually take requests and their request lines are normally unplugged. They also reuse the same playlists for a week or two on end so if you listen regularly, you'll be able to guess which song comes next
