All of Demi's albums have reach Gold (500k) in U.S. and a few of her singles have been certified platinum and multi-platinum, I believe. Nicole has not seen success anywhere near that magnitude as a solo artist, unfortunately.

Selena has three good songs: "Love You Like a Love Song", "Come & Get It", and "The Heart Wants What it Wants"

Demi has four good songs: "Nightingale", "Here We Ago Again", "Don't Forget", and "Give Your Heart a Break"

Not bad. Miley & Ariana stump all over them though.

Honest opinion, is Rihanna afraid to put out R8 or is she doing something similar to what Beyonce did before releasing Self-Titled? I don't mean it in the sense of a visual album or a surprise release but a delayed album with the some unknown plan in the background.

The latter. I doubt she's worried about flopping. It'll be funny if none of these singles are even on the album, just like SOTS & GW, weren't on Self-titled & the Navy's panicking for nothing.

SOTS & GW cannot be compared to Rihanna's singles. 45S had a grammy performance in front of 30 million viewers, BBHMM had the iheartradio awards/Jimmy Kimmel Promo and AO2 had that commercial and now the upcoming SNL performance. All of the songs have been on itunes, 2 have had official videos and BBHMM apparently has one coming.

Rihanna's songs aren't random leaking tracks, they're official singles. After the diplo thing about her recording 2 weeks ago I think the album is just unfinished. It'll be out when it's done. However, FFS is over and AO2 is a flop so I expect a new single by the time the album comes out.
