I think their focus on exclusives is 'wrong' because nothing is really exclusive anymore.

Better sound quality, and a piece of mind knowing the artists you're listening to are being paid what they deserve.

There are some other additional features that Spotify doesn't have, like videos and exclusive playlists, but that's for each person to decide on whether or not they find appealing.
