Not gay. Straight, black, just graduated from college, female. Never heard a 1D song ON PURPOSE in my life. Don't even really like pop music.

And it's not so much about whether he will actually have a successful solo career, let's me be honest, I don't really care, the point is that he IS well known despite what some of you are saying.
