He still did kinda want it, for his next album's recording I think. Whether he wanted it or not ain't the point, they took the track, then gave it to J. Lo without ever asking or telling him. On top of that they didn't even change some of the lyrics Usher's team did, and didn't give them writing credits either. She's sneaky af.

She kinda was the Milli Vanilli of the 2000's. Stealing samples from Mariah, stealing songs from Usher, not crediting Ashanti for vocals on a song, and having to remix and re-do her songs to have them hit #1. She had no type of shame. Even now the desperation of including Pitbull in 20 singles consecutively, making a re-do of Anaconda and flopping, etc.

J-to-tha LO! is the closest she's come to having a decent body of work but that's because it's a remixes/greatest hits sort of album. She has plenty of good songs but not one good album.
