KPop doesn't intrigue me bcos I don't really like EDM-tinged pop or like straight up dancepop in excess. I like it w/western artists because it's a fun thing to talk about with my peers but the genre itself does not belong close to my heart
Asians labels seem to have no problem with sinking costs into visual production, while Western labels are more cautious. That's why it takes forever for Asians artists to start making real income for themselves.
That Britney Iggy song doesn't flow well. The parts of the song don't match. Also, the verses are better than the chorus, it should be the other way around. It's also very annoying / Gwen Stefani-like. Very underwhelming. I pass.
