There are so many possibilities to handle young Storm. Ugh I'm scared she's gonna be downplayed so much

Just watched DOFP again and i'm SLAIN all over again by the future Storm scenes Still so pressed that Halle was pregnant again which limited her action scenes I'm low key hoping more Storm scenes make it into the Rogue cut somehow but I doubt they cut anything from the full film, seeing as how small her part was anyway.

Perched for Kween. Like BLYS said, watch her serve class 2 level mutant strength. Passing out after summoning a lightning bolt. I can see it now.

I mean it would save money and make sense within the timeline , I'm Hoping Future Storm has a large part to serve the action scenes again.

Well, we'll see. Still hoping for the best, though.

I watched DOFP again the other day and it's so well made and beautiful to look at. I maintain that it should've gotten a Best Picture nom instead of the avalanche of dreary biopics this year.
However am STILL confused about Stryker being Mystique at the end when he fishes up Wolverine?

Same, These kind of films always seem to be snubbed though for major awards
I think it was just setting up a cliffhanger that will maybe resolve in Apocalypse or Wolverine 3, also to demonstrate that from the moment Mystique dropped the gun, the time line changed.

Well considering Mystique knew about him from rescuing the other mutants in Saigon, she probably used him as a disguise in Washington to avoid Charles and others finding her. It basically just ensures Wolverine Origins (AKA the worst X-movie ever) is totally erased because now Stryker is MIA and Mystique is playing his part. It's like the first X-Men movie, she took over Senator Kelly's body and by X2 he had "changed his mind" on mutant registration.
DOFP honestly worked so well because the past and future contrasted and slayed. The 70s part with more color and humor was the reason the future battle was so much more epic. Everything was at stake
For the Rogue cut, I think we could definitely get more Storm scenes but it's unlikely any will be powers stuff.

Hope so, I wish Storm went with Iceman and Magneto to save Rogue
btw does any one else find it funny that they only saved Rogue when they needed her power
Like they were just gonna let the good sis rot there, if Kitty didn't get slashed

Rogue is such a kiiii for the future. She has zero defence against sentinels unless she basically kills another team mate for their power It doesn't really make sense that she'd have survived, she's long dead in the comic future storyline.
Storm may have her Wolverine (Bad) romance (on iTunes now), remember that blooper where Halle kisses him and runs off yelling and laughing

Yeah Rogue would basically have as much defence as a human, but didn't they keep Rogue alive to use her DNA for the future sentinels? Like they combined Mystiques and Rogues DNA to have power absorbing/shape-shifting sentinels? That's the only reason I can think of to why they locked her up.
Yeah that was funny actually I hope the DVD comes with a ton of bonus features, because the current DVD doesn't really have much on it. I wouldn't mind directors/cast commentary, I guess it depends on how much fan service/money the want to spend on this re-release, I hope it sells well enough for an Apocalypse directors cut Any one know how well the DOFP DVD sold?

OK thanks! Yeah I also love the contract between colorful 70s and the dark/ominous future. Storm and Magneto slayed in the future battle scene.

Domestically, X-Men pulled in around $50M from DVD and Blu-Ray sales, that excludes downloads and on-demand purchases (the movie went on demand before it was released on home media). International numbers are always so hard to get, usually it's around the same because the US buys far more legal copies on home release but it's not always the case, as seen with MJ's This Is It which exploded and made tens of millions in home release sales in Japan.
Its Blu-ray numbers are pretty okay (~$30M), the DVD sales (~$20M) are pretty poor which isn't surprising considering the format shift. Overall, that number isn't fantastic, but many hardcore fans (including me) haven't bought a copy because we know a special edition is due this summer so combining those sales it should have a great Blu-ray sales total.

Who do y'all want as the Horsemen? I'm kinda hoping they go the route of the X-Men Evolution TV series here because those episodes with Apocalypse were rad.

ok thanks So adding the cinema gross and DVD sales its at about 800m WW? thats amazing tbh considering Wolverine films don't do great and X3 wasn't exactly a fan favourite and first class did ok.

I don't remember Apoclypse in the Evolution Maybe I should go and rewatch TAS + Evolution, even though I was never really a fan of evolution it might help my X men cravings
I hope Wolverine is a Horseman tbh, just to get him out the way of the dialogue + he would basically be a mutant punching bag for the young team to really unleash their full powers on without actually killing him because of his healing factor.

Archangel is definitely one. What is interesting is that Halle Berry's Storm and Ian McKellen's Mangeto are both heavily rumoured (P-Stew basically confirmed McKellen) so those two are very possible candidates! Future Xavier by Patrick Stewart hasn't been mentioned about appearing so he may not be the 4th (it could be future Mystique if they follow X-men Evolution!)
As much as Storm slayed as horseman, she was done so wrong for so much of X-Men evolution. She was absent from half of the first two seasons and they always made her powers look too weak.

It would be a good bit higher, probably closer to $850M WW because that $50M home release number is for US/Domestic market only. It doesn't include international DVD and Blu-ray sales which are likely similar to the US. That also excludes on-demand and download revenue.
For Apocalypse, assuming the movie is fantastic and gets the same word of mouth, I think they should be looking for $850M+ WW in box-office receipts.
