All Good will be like the Girls Get Your Money of this album for me. Song's kinda a mess at first, but I love it/grow to love it over time. I see great bop potential for this track in the future

Getting "ew, i'm too good for pop music!1!!" teas. This album is pop, that's even how its listed on iTunes and its great. Doesn't devalue you it in anyway.

One Woman Army is like Overdose's upbeat lil sister. Tribal drums are definitely a nice touch to this one. Helps it stick out over your average dance-pop. Could be a nice single with a really great, dance-filled video!

we all good with pop but give us somethin to write home about. noones here for boring ass MUSIC, nonetheless what genre is.

its just the fact she slayed at 'ghetto pop' how she would call it, dis is just pop that kelly rowland would do, dis is so pop that usher is dreaming about, dis is so pop that rihanna would not be embarass to sign it, shes better than all of them, we just have higher expectations of our fave.

I don't think thats the problem but aside from OWA none of this Pop Ci is up to the standard she's done before with Livin' It Up and Overdose. That's the case for me at least because I love Urban and Pop Ci and wanted a more pop album but this...its all very average.

Hmmm i dont really agree with that, they are pretty straight up pop/electro/EDM tracks. I dont hear any urban in them.

Yeah, but I don't really count Sweat, Sorry, Got Me Good, or Overdose tbh. Like Sweat never even got released to anywhere but a bit of radio. And Sorry and Got Me Good were flops for an album probably moderately different than what self-titled was. And Overdose was basically announced as a single and that was the end of that.

if she promoted heavily Overdose last time everybody would be more acceptive of Ciara as a straight pop girl. She still seen as rnb and she needs some huge era to clean that image, something what Miley did with Bangerz to get rid of Hannah Montana image

I'm not even sure I'd criticize Ciara as someone who isn't risky enough. I feel like only certain artists can pull that off well. That's not to drag Ciara, but she really found her groove with Ciara for me and finding your groove > taking risk after risk with little chance of it paying off.

To me this feels like the natural progression after Ciara. If you (in general) know Ciara's album history, she was trying to do pop with Fantasy Ride but it flopped because of label support, so she went back to her urban roots with Basic Instinct.

Boy Outta Here and One Night With You were produced by the same people so she knew she had to have a mix of urban and pop. It was clear from the leaked Overdose snippet in 2012 that she wanted to do more pop music.

Jackie combines the best of all of her past albums imo. It's cohesive like Goodies, personal like The Evolution, diverse like Fantasy Ride, and catchy like Ciara

They were still all released and they spent money on them. If they can spend money on those complete flops then I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to release more singles off of an album that has more hits on it.
