American Oxygen sure is a breath of fresh air isn't it! A nice change of pace to LA's smog

Spoiler: Rih's still fighting for that next number one, she'll have a lot more competition soon. Which is totally a completely different story from the actual charts

All That Is amazing. I love everything about it. Rih is on fire already this era. I need the album from her already. I haven't heard James Joint, but maybe it's a good thing or else Id have four songs from her on here

The funny thing is, I've never been a huge Rih or Carly fan. I guess I just really like them this era.

Chart Notes: What a crazy week it's been. I'm personally exhausted and completely burnt out, and even as I write this, I'm chasing time and have about 10 minutes before I need to leave and go somewhere. It's been fun overall though. First of all it's been midterm week and I've needed to be cheered up and the album that always does that is: ARTPOP. It's one of my favorites and I've been putting off listening to it because... well I get caught up on it. It's one of my favorites, and since I've needed the pick-me-up, Gaga and her Koons ball sit atop the album chart with almost as many plays as the rest of the top 5 combined. Speaking of the rest of the top 5, another of my main faves occupy the chart. This is the most complete take over that has ever occurred on my album chart. I went to see Mastodon this week (they're been one of my favorite bands since Blood Mountain in 2006) and they were amazing. The show was incredible and a nice, but exhausting, break in the middle of midterm week; funny enough, I almost got in a fight with a drunk guy at the show, but that's a story for another day or a wall message which is pretty generally open to any conversation.

So, Gaga's impact continues onto the Recurrent song chart. Not only did I play the album in heavy rotation and continue to do so, her top songs got me through a pretty intense midterm. I forgot I had a take-home midterm and ended up doing it at 3 AM the morning before it was due. Gaga kept me awake Also, Love Me Harder randomly got stuck in my head this week one morning so it's been sticking with me. I guess the song finally clicked. It never charted as a single, but tops the recurrent chart.

The song chart sees MNDR and Killer Mike get another week at number one with a healthy lead. Mariah Carey debuts with Infinity, and two more favorite artists debut here: Django Django and Disclosure. Ciara also rebounds somewhat as Jackie (look out for a debut of that album here next week) gets closer and Rihanna's FourFiveSeconds does as well.

I may edit some more personal notes here later but that's all I have the time for for now! Until later. Thanks for the comments everyone!
