They work SO well together (if they ever did a collab album I would actually die ).

I just really want them to put the whole AI **** behind them. As much as it's obvious Mariah started it and used it for publicity (though of course the producers had something to do with it) they were probably both at fault and should just make amends.

Oh really? If memory serves right, it was Nicki who took the criticism that Mariah, Keith, and Randy had for a contestant personally and then had a meltdown. It was also Nicki then went on to address the issue over and over again to the media while Mariah & co. stayed mum for the most part. Please don't revise history, mkay? Neither of them were blameless or a victim. BOTH played a part in that issue. In any case, that's in the past so leave it there.

I agree, Nicki even mentioned Mariah in an interview about a year ago and had nothing but nice things to say (despite what went down) I hope they can make up eventually (not just for collaboration purposes)

In no way did I say she was blameless. I do believe the producers noticed Mariah and Nicki clashing during auditions and exploited them to promote the show.

Not 100% sure what interview you're referring to but I remember her saying a similar thing on Ellen.

The second part of that could be misconstrued. Nicki did bring it up a lot (probably not for publicity as she had plenty at the time but she definitely wasn't blameless in that area.). We know Mariah didn't want another woman on the panel so it really isn't a reach to presume Mariah started it.
