In addition, the investment is in Rihanna's music. In order to create one Rihanna song, over 10 writers, composers, and producers have to be paid. Of course costs are going to be cut in other areas when the music itself costs a fortune to create.

And you've hit the nail on the head. I'd rather the investment be in the quality of music than a circus.
There's several artists, and I won't name names for the purpose of this PG forum, that sing the most childish **** that could be compared to Barney, yet spend money on production to make themselves entertaining. We're not all robotic morons.
Rihanna's music so far has actually been rather exceptional. She's finally telling stories without opening her mouth. I can't even remember the last time (possibly Lana Del Rey); that was able to transcend emotion through music and visuals.
I realised a long time ago that this forum doesn't discuss music at all. It's always about who peaked higher or whatever.
If you care about peaks when you choose a song to walk down the aisle, or bury someone you love, then you're deranged.
Forum of members that love music. Where? The majority of people here have turned into psychopaths.
