True, the songs really aren't what ppl expected.
Gaga was having meltdowns because her damn manager left her right before she released her album and everyone was bashing her, media, fans, haters etc. The Katy comparison was not a meltdown, it fit with the DWUW theme and was used for promo.
Besides, having a meltdown shows how connected she is to her art, and vulnerable. Rih's a hit making FACTORY, she's not writing her stuff, she's not feeling her stuff.
I'd rather have my fave be a raw, emotional mess after writing her music than going on vacation and never bothering as if it weren't her music to begin with.
