Lies, Gaga was out promoting and she was trying her hardest to get media attention with the constant feuds, controversial performances and Twitter meltdowns. Rihanna has been in Hawaii doing nothing but uploading things on Snapchat for what seems like weeks.

Multiple countries? Germany and UK. The mess with DWUW happened 2 months into the era.

"Everywhere" meaning 2 shows in the US with less combined viewers than Rih's performance at the Grammy's and the Japan performances / XFactor UK and Alan Carr messes.

What's this have to do with anything??? Didn't AO2 had a video? A radio deal? Commercials? Why did it sell less than Venus and Dope?

Humanity does not speak for the whole Navy. The songs are not "bad", just polarising, and certainly not what anyone expected to relaunch her music after a 2+ year break. Its a big change up, not typical single material, not smashes.

And sorry but the difference is Gaga was having meltdowns about her chart success and comparing herself to Katy whereas Rih clearly gives not even two ****s.

Rih's albums and singles (most of her singles are in the 3x-4x platinum range) are easier to outsell than Gaga's 5x-6x-7x platinum singles. If Gaga sells over Applause next era it'll be a damn huge improvement.

I was responding to the user who said Artpop was handled equally as bad, which it wasn't. AO had a Tidal exclusive release for 2 weeks, no radio deal, yes it was in commercials but that was over a month ago and the song wasn't even on iTunes until last week. Either way that song is a flop I don't care about it.

BBHMM is rising on the Hot 100 every week, the fact that it will probably also peak in the top 15 like DWUW even though it's an urban single with bitch in the title
