X-MEN: APOCALYPSE takes place in 1983, but the timelines for DEADPOOL and GAMBIT are still unknown. Kinberg says that each film will acknowledge each other, expanding the X-Men universe on screen.

Gambit while a fan favourite still seems a bit random espesically as hes already been used as a throw-away character in a solo wolveine film, I wonder if they are going to pretend that Wolervine 1 version doesn't exsist , and I have never cared for deadpool

My thing is the other characters are like supporting acts and Wolverine is always the center of attention. It's not fair.

We have YET to see the X-Men (Storm, Rogue, Iceman, etc.) TRULY shine on the big screen so this soft reboot is a step in the right direction.

You clearly aren't reading my post. That's the WHOLE POINT. Marvel has no way of putting mutants in their movies and now that comic-book movies are surging in popularity, they are using Inhumans to get around it.

Can't use mutants to introduce powered people = turn to Inhumans instead to do it. This isn't rocket science.

It's really not that hard to see. It's got nothing to do with trolling - it's just not feasible for Marvel to throw money behind X-Men when they can make more money throwing that same cash behind bolstering the Inhumans franchise which will have a better payout.

It was never about Marvel not having a plan - and if they weren't trying to skirt around the mutant issue, they wouldn't use Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (named MUTANTS) in the first place.

Google more before throwing SW and QS into the fight, kid.
1 - SW and QS work with Avengers more than the work with X-Men, that's how Marvel have the right on them.
2 - SW and QS are not mutants in Avengers/Marvel cinematic universe.
3 - In the comic, they just revealed SW and QS are not Magneto's biology children, so there's change they're not mutants.
4 - Inhumans are coming to slay X-Men back and forth If they have Vin Diesel as Black Bolt

I think there's an important distinction to make here - Disney are pressuring Marvel to put their characters to the forefront of the comic world (which for decades has been lead on Marvel's side by X-Men and Spider-Man). It's not necessarily Marvel Comics themselves doing it. If anything, they stand to lose the most...

They're not allowed based on Fox's rights. Nobody is allowed say mutant in a MCU movie.

Yeah, wasn't that impressed.

They've already messed up the characters. They can't reverse the damage they've done. The people working on X-Men don't really know anything about the comics.
