= 3.7M

It's far from this actually.

And both of them had the same peak on Billboard Hot 100 (#4), but Applause spent more weeks in the top 10.

Ariana is already at 1.5M and still selling, so she did better as well and has already sold more singles.

Lana's was an alternative rock album and has nowhere near the star power Gaga has/had.

Madonna is 56 years old and still debuting with 100k+. Her tour is selling like crazy as well, something that Gaga didn't do this era.

Nicki's album underperformed but it's a hip hop album. I guess you could say it flopped.

Iggy's was her debut album that had 2 hits. At least the singles sold well.

Ariana's album sales are tragic but her singles sell well.
