Addiction is a deep-seated disease, and saying that relapsing is "someone's fault" is pretty gross. I'm pretty sure none of you know how Kim is in therapy and treatment, and she's never really denied her alcoholism on the show so I'm not sure how she seems to be in denial. The only substance related issue that we've ever seen since her sobriety was the Monty-pill incident, which she seems to have taken responsibility for... what else is there to own it? Damage control...I mean that's an interesting take as many have been supporting "legend" kim and her antics for their vicarious entertainment.
that said, addiction is a deep-seated disease...of course...which is why many of us could see she wasn't well...and not just referring to that pill incident.
She's definitely decided not to deny her alcoholism...imo (outside of what's been reported in the past) she's stated that and not addressed substance abuse issues that she won't claim and puts it all into 'alcoholism.'
She made excuses for the pill incident and doesn't count it as a relapse...are we watching the same thing?
But yes, I really think Kim needs to take time to get healthy for her kids sake.
