You and I remember the "white/gold dress" night very differently. There were 15+ threads made that night about the dress, and all of them were shut down almost
instantly. The Lounge was filled with threads about that dress, and each and every one of them were closed for being pointless.
There was, however, one thread that got to stay open
after the true colour of the dress, a cultural phenomenon, was solved. Whether it was kept open to finally confine the discussion, or kept open because no one noticed/reported it, I'm not sure - but it was ultimately closed, too.
So, there's no bias, if that's what you're getting at.
