If I'm not mistaken, "the Time Of My Life" was sent to I-Tunes in June/July of last year, but I'm not quite sure about that. I'm sure that it'll be soon enough.

I actually think the vote difference was rather significantly large which would explain the reason for not saying it. According to dialidol, Kris slightly beat Adam on the phone vote. Kris is basically the only contestant receiving text votes so it might have been a landslide (and my landslide, I mean at least about 57%-43% or more).
You put both of them in American's fav field. There's nothing relative between the hero and boring singing contestant.
It was just a statement. I was rooting for Obama and Kris and they both won. It's just a silly remark about how I think America is doing a decent job choosing winners considering most of the mistakes made by the majority in the past.

OMG, that song is terrible. Having that as a first single is like a punishment for winning. Lets just kill Kara and the other co-writer responsible for the song so Kris will not have to actually record that single. I rooted for Adam to win but no one deserves that kind of punishment.

Uhm, David Cook won over Archie by 12 mi votes. Maybe Kris won over Adam by 1 vote, so no vote number announce is understable.
It'll be okay. It's not like he can't do something musically any way. He will probably have something like a single or album out by the end of the year. It's not all about winning any more; it's more about building a fan base and allowing yourself to be seen by labels (Archuleta, Daughtry, Hudson, Yamin, etc ...).
