Diplo is releasing 4 albums this year. 2 of Major Lazer, One on his own, one with Jack Ü (him+Skrillex and other, plus they introduced CL as their new member of the Jack Ü family back at the Ultra Festival, so I guess it's that one).

So, just to throw this out, SHINee's contracts end on the 25th of May and there still isn't confirmation of them re-signing. But since Jonghyun had kind of hyped up a SHINee comeback this year, no one really took caring to the contract thing, but now fans seem to be a little apprehensive since Onew has signed on to star in three dramas, and fans speculate he could be not-renewing his SHINee contract to focus on solo activities in acting. But it seems to be fan fuelled, so eh.

I mean she made it farther in relevance in the US than the rest of your faves including BoA SNSD without even debuting....this her **** bow down betch! And don't get me starting on people not knowing words when your ass stans for Yeri.

I'm rooting for CL. I just want to see someone from K-Pop make it without it being a laughing stock in the U.S. I'll never forgive Chris Brown (besides the obvious) for embarrassing T-ARA N4 like he did @ that tragic pool party.

It's just sad that the hype for CL is stronger than anything anyone in K-Pop has tried doing in the U.S, so if she fails, she's going to noticeably fail and this will be the last of Korean to American debuts we see for a while...

BoA is a better singer/dancer than CL, who had a bigger following than CL did, slaying for a solo artist in K/J/C. unfortunately her debut in the States was a tragedy since she got the end of the stick from Sean Garrett + Akon. I'm not going to speak on the disaster that was Soshi's "attempt" at debuting and Yeri literally has done nothing besides be sweet and cute, so..............

Let her talent speak for herself without bringing other idols into it, I don't get why you think that's going to make it seem that CL's debut is going to be top-notch.

Because y'all put so much doubt in the girl CL

She is the underdog. For once, a true underdog is leaving kpop to break in the US and she will make it. She didn't have a true home where she stayed in one location growing up. She got let go and dropped by JYPE, she sent a demo every 3 months for 4 years to YG just to get in. When she got in, she was begged to get plastic surgery called ugly by her boss often and thrown shoes at. She debuts and gets called ugly by Koreans. Told she can't sing, she can't dance, she can't rap by people online and ATRL. But this girl overcame it all to where she was the one who got scouted from someone in the US to debut. This isn't YG pushing her US debut. This is Scooter. SM pushed BoA. SM pushed SNSD who both were loved and successful in Korea, thought to be beautiful and the best. Same thing with JYP and the wondergirls. The things they never truly suffered was adversity or a real challenge in Korea for those three groups. They were overly loved while the one who is coming out was not. Thats gonna be her fight and drive. That's gonna be why she succeeds. She has the drive. She has the persistence. She has the strength to handle it where as the others didn't.
