it's not just Monsters who do that, ARMY was praising the **** out of FF after BJ, sometimes you gotta lose something (quality) to realize what you had before.

Couldn't agree more. The overdramatic posts about how BTW, TF or TFM are way better than ARTPOP beacuse they all have themes, storylines or whatever ...I mean, who gives a **** about a theme, really? I enjoy her every album, even BTW. All I care about is good music.

Tbh I ended up preferring PRISM in the end, ARTPOP has grown old/outdated for the biggest part, I only use a couple of songs regularly.

It has some great bops but overall it is her weakest album

I agree it's her weakest, but it is still melodically and musically better than any Katy Perry album I've ever heard. That's just me though.

If Applause, DWUW and Gypsy had smashed, ARTPOP would have been praised. Regardless of flaws, it's better than most Rihanna, Katy, Britney etc. albums.

Oh well. Onwards.

ARTPOP is a great album! Sure its her weakest but its still better than a certain album that was mentioned. The only weak song is Fashion! and even that grew over time

OOTB is better and arguably, TD as well but it's definitely better than PRISM.

None of Gaga's songs or albums have changed my life. I dont look so deep into music. Yes, some of her songs put me in mood, some of them...lets say.. make me a little.. um..sad(?). But to change my life? Nah.
