Not this turning into Monsters VS Others

Gaga Fans: Gaga is an inexperienced actress, that's a fact.
Others: Gaga is in it, nothing can change that anymore, get over it.
now move on, you guys are spending too much time over this

Monsters shouldn't feed the fire, that being said Gaga has been cast, many are excited, many wanted this to happen, and many didn't understand why it didn't happen sooner, their imagery is so similar in many ways.

To those feuding we monsters/ahs fans (or whomever) we know just as much as you on Gaga's acting, Ryan wants her, and you'll all just have to deal, it might be brilliant, it might be a disaster, but it wouldn't be the first time Ryan Murphy served up a disaster, ala Freak Show.

I don't see why you would be disappointed, I mean if it's anything like Coven/Freak Show it'll be a lot lighter than the first 2 seasons, which are really the fan favorites, so really the show hasn't been what you really wanted it to be since season 2, so maybe this show just isn't for you.

It's Ryan's show, and Gaga's going to star in it whether you like it or not, deal with it. And it's probably going to make all the more sense, once we see it. His dealt with inexperienced actors before, she has had some training in that field, and I'm sure she'll delve right in and get extra experience.

And Monsters don't feel the need to defend Gaga, when in truth, you know just as little as everyone, and can't really defend, what they're attacking, which is indeed a fact, Gaga lacks experience as an actor, that isn't really a bad thing, Taissa Farmiga, and a lot of the Freaks from last year had little to no experience, and Taissa has gone on to build a successful acting career, and a lot of people actually liked her in the show.. And I mean Emma Roberts, really lacked the emotional appeal a lot of the more experienced actors had in Freak Show, yet she was cast, she didn't do great, but she ended up with a smaller role, and is now doing another Ryan Murphy project, Ryan will make it work.

Gaga's gotta star somewhere, and this is brilliant for her, I mean acting beside Oscar winner Kathy Bates, a match made in heaven, in my opinion.

I actually began the first episode of Coven, thinking I'd re-watch it (which I didn't)
And omg, I didn't realize how dark that stuff with Kathy Bates character (the racist) really was, I was watching it thinking, Freak Show didn't have one moment like this, where I actually was like wtf?

I've been watching this thread since 2013 and it never was annoying. (Unless Madison/her Freak Show character dies)

Anyway, I don't think this season will be that great. Just a feeling.

If you really think she's going to come out of this smelling like roses, you obviously don't know how this show (and its audience) rolls

Every season is met with almost universal whining and complaining. Just watch. All the goodwill Gaga has built up with the public these past few months is going to turn into ashes once RM and his writing team are done with this season.

Lmao, this isn't a mainstream show by any means, so the good will that Gaga's built up will be largely unaffected if her performance is panned. Mainly because this is a television show, and her good will is related to her recent musical endeavours.

lol wat? Of course its a mainstream show. It's not The Walking Dead, but I assure you it's watched worldwide, it gets nominated for awards, and everybody hypes up the stupendous quality of acting the show is SUPPOSED to have. The ratings were at a peak during Coven thanks to Asylum's hype, but they lost interest when Freakshow dragged, which is why I'm guessing Ryan is resorting to stunt-casting now.

I think Coven had some really great moments, I defended it, but Freak Show can not be defended.

As a whole Freak Show is far from my favorite but the season had some of the best singular episodes of the entire series.

I will defend those.

I can agree with this, but praising an episode is all for naught when the entirety is pretty incohesive.

FS is total ****, and can't be defended. Sure it had a few good episodes, but in the grand scheme of things, no one remembers or cares about those. They just remember a terrible, cringeworthy season. All of the characters were just

Asylum > Coven (first half) > Murder House > Coven (bad half) > septic tank explosion > Freak Show

Praying Finn and Angela return for Hotel; they're the last two people I wanted to return (and then I'll be 4/4). Have such high hopes for the next season

In my opinion, it was more the concept of Bette and Dot that was interesting. The actual execution could have been better.. in fact, I think the majority of Freak Show relied too heavily on concept rather than execution.
