Lol at TLC being brought up. They weren't huge outside the US. CSC did 8.6 million in the US, you really believe they did 15 outside the US, they were no Spice Girls.
Anyway, Bey's career is crazy. No wonder she feels she has nothing to prove. It's funny too because like a year ago I remember the girls trying to laud that DC's first album was a flop and therefore Bey has a flop album to her name. It was that "Has your fave ever flopped" thread. Now they don't want the numbers claimed.
So let me get this straight? Just because you collaborate with someone on a certain project in class (refers to the ATRL demographic that don't fall under High School/college drop outs) it means the grade you get should not be counted towards your grade or better yet just because you work in a collaborative setting it means you should not be credited individually but altogether?
Makes perfect sense according to ATRL logic to ignore someone's body of work just because it wasn't solely their work and pretend it plays no part in their career because it doesn't suit your agenda.
If DC weren't as successful as they were everyone would be pulling in their numbers to try and discredit Bey's solo work but since they are one of the most successful female music groups of all time it automatically represents a threat that must be overlooked because it just so happens that there ain't that many people that have achieved what Bey has in the past two decades.
Seethe and don't look so bothered over her accomplishments.
What is with those stupid examples that make no sense? BEYONCE IS NOT DESTINY'S CHILD THEREFOR THEY DONT COUNT TOWARDS HER CAREER SALES. Gawd.
And even with those numbers added with Bey's sales she still doesn't surpass Britney's total sales so they're nowhere near as a threat to Britney's very impressive numbers. So I'm not bothered at all.

this is so funny because it's true. Beyoncé is in a small elite class in that she came from a successful group, went on to have a successful solo career which eclipsed said group, and then become an icon. There are less than 10 artists in history I can think of that did this. Very, very rare.
Not saying OP should count their sales together for the purpose of this thread but it's an interesting observation in general.

I love how they want to use the she has more years in the game but then go around and do not want to include dc its success Meanwhile Billboard, the grammys and even their fav mediatraffic includes them together poor them
Destiny's Child Christmas album and their remix album is missing here; it should add 3M to the present stats bringing Beyoncé total sales to 67M.
