Let me rephrase my post then that my faves have never had a huge/interesting scandal. When will SHINee lose a member/sue SM/cheat their way up the charts/get caught bullying etc?

I don't think I'd be that sad if f(x) did disband, I've seen it coming for a while.

It would be more of a shock if they stayed together after this comeback, as all the members seem to have exit strategies ready to go:

Amber - Solo/variety show circuit (I don't know if her Korean is good enough for radio/TV MC roles)
Victoria - Move to China and slay media over there
Sulli - Acting career and/or non-stop orgies with Choiza
Krystal - Run off to the U.S.

The only one who would be screwed is Luna. SM doesn't care about her when they have Taeyeon and now Wendy. I don't know how big her fanbase is, I don't think it competes with other members. As a solo artist she seems quite boring and she can't act either so...

I don't think Luna is that high up the ranks at SM.

For me, Wendy is their new most talented. She sings, raps, dances, plays various instruments, learned English with a native sounding accent and she seems more intelligent when she speaks. I think they have underused Wendy.

Right now SM is probably planning to dump the group, especially with RV's 4 wins so far with this comeback in a much shorter time than f(x) took to get 1 win.

SM has set up an independent studio for Lay, so that he can manage his career in China independently. What this means apparently, is that SM is giving him the chance to not only be a member of EXO, but manage Chinese activities on his own accord so he can eventually release his self-composed tracks in China, without interfering with any EXO related releases.
