Just listened to the song first time and the video.
I am not black but I can see why it would be emotional and powerful for black people seeing it, it was a nice video.
The song...maybe I need to listen to it more often but that background loop noise is seriously annoying me and distracting from the rest. It's not always there but when it is, it is graining and not enjoyable.

I'm sorry, but nah. The song is still flat and dry. The video is not powerful. I have seen these pictures before. Seeing them back to back in a video doesn't make them any more impactful and still, doesn't make me like the song more.

I loved it , I love how she ended the video with a positive clip of multi-cultural kids playing in the park while singing " This is the new America". Certain clips in this are very powerful and if you actually pay attention to the video it all makes sense.
Wish it wasnt on Tidal but I still love it either way, you all (aka the NAVY) need to stop being so negative.
