I love how the production in BTW album is very expansive. There's really small parts in each instrumental that really make each song their own and they're all very loaded, heavy. And electronic. It's funny because to me BTW sounds like more of an electronic album than ARTPOP.
I remember when BTW (album) first came out. The first song I bought from the album was Yoü & I. I didn't buy the entire album until, like, months later. I bought Y&I, Government Hooker, Schiesse, Marry The Night, Bad Kids and I think Americano. Such a magical time. When charts and **** didn't matter
The looks during the Born This Way (single) era were horrid 90% of the times
The amount of magazine photoshoots I felt were wasted (not all but still...)
I love at the very end of the GUY chorus, how when she sings, "the girl under, GUY(Y)" there's like a layering effect over the "GUY" with "Y" and it's like "GWUWY"

I don't care about the charts. I mean, it's nice to have validation that other people are enjoying the same thing as you but some people take it way too far. Usually if I am talking about the charts I am just joking lol.

Same. I enjoy having a discussion about charts, but I don't like complaining about them or relying on them to have an opinion about the music. I think what Yzma was saying was that he personally wasn't invested in the charts, but I remember back then the boards were a mess because of the expectations and chart runs
