I still wish we had a crossover hit before the album. This could have been her biggest opening numbers since The Evolution. Given that streaming and single downloads also count for overall units, she could have easily pushed 90 - 95k with 2 hits before the album. I'm glad we'll have the album soon, my coins are ready, but I can't look past the wasted opportunity of absolute slayage

Hopefully DLWML takes off quickly. I definitely think this could do better than Fantasy Ride if they give her the right promotion and timing.

There's no guarantee she'll have a second hit this era (no shade btw since the last album was AMAZING but BP ended up being the only hit) nor is there any guarantee they'll actually push singles to pop radio, even though they should. It's smart to strike while the iron is hot and I Bet being just outside of the urban top 10 and getting 4 pop adds is not a given for a Ciara single. Maybe they're scared that the pop driven songs won't resonate with urban or the urban driven songs won't resonate with rhythmic / pop, so they want to push the album while they have a cute hit going on...

The album should be coming out in July after the BET Awards and after a top 30 peaking rhythmic / pop crossover hit though, so the release date would still be messy if it was May 11th

There will be definitely be a second single. There's still time for one, but it has to click with the GP instantly for it to help sell the album
Yeah, she needs to put out that I Bet remix ASAP, let it push I Bet as far as it will go, and release the next (pop crossover Luke-produced) single when I Bet is peaking on radio (probably by the end of the month/close to album release).
