i think the problem with bb is the 24/7 surveillance spoils things for hardcore stans. if you're casual watcher, its probably just as exciting.

Will is a flop. He betrayed his alliance for nothing.

Isn't it just tie now?
Also the next week's preview makes it look like the blues are killing themselves off anyway

No Collar & Shirin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Everyone else is garbage and I'm basically just praying Mike doesn't win at this point.

As of right now:
Alliance #1: Will, Tyler, Carolyn, Mike, Sierra, Dan, Rodney
Alliance #2: Shirin, Joe, Jenn, Hali
Alliance #2 are gonna need 2 more people (probably from Will, Tyler and Carolyn) to take control.

You have a very strange view of what garbage is. I'd rather roll around in a dumpster than spend any time with any of the 4 No Collars left.

It was a pretty uneventful merge until we got to the scheming and that fabulous tribal council.
The funny thing is, that group of eight had the numbers to split the vote between Jenn and Hali. Surely somebody should have been wary of an idol due it being one of the biggest tribal councils of the entire game (the first one of the merge) and due to no idol being played thus far. I guess BC were too unsure of Carolyn, Tyler, and Will to enact a split vote plan. And I'm glad they didn't, because I am #TeamNoCollar and seeing Kelly get blindsided after she tried to pull a fast one on queens Jenn and Hali was sweet justice.
Lemme bitch about the other contestants and try to show y'all why we should be rooting for Joe, Jenn, Shirin, and Hali. First off, the blue collars in general. With the exception of Sierra, this has got to be one of the most unlikable groups of five ever on Survivor. You've got the delusional, steamrolling sexist Rodney, you've got the hick, chronic smoker-voiced Mike, you've also got try-hard ham Dan, and lastly, boring I-lost-a-few-IQ-points-in-the-accident Kelly. And then there's Tyler and Carolyn. I actually kind of like Mama C, but there's this smugness to her that's a turn-off. The editors must be working overtime to not let Tyler turn into total wallpaper, because he's always just... there. I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of people trying to play the swing vote. This is not the Tyler show, so the way he was going from alliance to alliance basically looking for the best deal was annoying. Either way, he's screwing himself because he's played too passively thus far and now he'll probably end up as some alliance's expendable extra. Can't wait for him to become one of the first few jurors.
Then, Will. He's charismatic and unassuming, which works in his favor, but man is he a dumbass. We knew he was a recruit, but I'm convinced he doesn't know a thing about Survivor. First the Vince vote, and now this episode. How could he turn on his alliance so quickly? Does he honestly think he has a shot at anything better than a jury goat with BC plus Carolyn/Tyler? Because he just burned Jenn/Hali/Joe. Watch him still be sitting there in the final six though, which will be good for my draft but bad for my taste buds. What do you know, Hali's doubts about him came true!
Luckily, empress Shirin took Will's place in the golden alliance. Shirin and the remaining loyal no collars will have to work hard to not be picked off next, but something in me feels they will triumph. Maybe the can pull in a flaky Sierra or a still disgruntled Rodney, or even a clueless Will and make it work. Who knows? Or maybe they can capitalize off of the dissension that's lingering between the blue collars and work to take out Rodney next. I'll be rooting for them! By the way, this "break up the power couples!" thing is being taken too far and becoming hella stupid. Nearly everybody has a right-hand man: Jenn/Hali, Tyler/Carolyn, Mike/Kelly. None of them are ruling the game without major help from others. It's just how the game works.
Best moments of the episode: Shirin's dragging of that ridiculous tribe name and Jenn's glorious idol play! Yes, girls!

Also, the parallels between Kelly and Sarah from two seasons ago are uncanny. Could this season be playing out similarly to Cagayan?

L.J.Angel, ha return??

LJ was boring. I don't know why anyone would want him back for any reason besides his looks. Also, I know the list is just preliminary speculation and is missing a handful of people that could also be on the table, but why are we talking a total of 18 people from the four most recent seasons being in the running? The recency bias is real. We'll see where this season goes, but the only people from the past three seasons that should be on the table are Reed, Kelley, Jeremy (maybe), Kass, Spencer, Trish, Tasha, Ciera, Hayden, and Vytas (maybe).

As opposed to the perpetually negative and not in a good way Jenn, who only has confessionals in which she bitches about people and complains, tried to be Kimmi 2.0 about the damn chickens, was the biggest player in the deaf lady feeling like she was treated like ****, is super condescending, and tried to deny the common knowledge that you must piss on jellyfish stings (maybe she was right, I'll have to look it up, but I feel like if that DIDN'T work, it wouldn't be common knowledge and we'd have heard something in S4 from John about how she peed on his hand for nothing.) At least manage to be mildly humorous when talking **** and being negative. Maybe take notes from Corinne or Colton.
And her protege Hali, who in addition to being a bitch to everyone because Jenn does it so she thinks it's cool, has a voice that is even more annoying than smoked-a-pack-at-once Mike, and had a confessional where she not only raved about the super cool tribe name, but did so using ridiculous, warped logic and made herself look too stupid to actually be in law school.
And Joe, who has the personality of a trust fund douchebag who has supes high self-esteem because nowadays people get participation trophies but who when push comes to shove is utterly inept and incapable of formulating successful plans, has awful hair, and is an accessory to the alleged mistreatment of a deaf woman.
And Will who is useless in challenges and a complete MORON while voting at Tribal.
SMH at ShirinGoddess aligning with these awful people.
Mike and Rodney may be typical redneck trash and Brotrash respectively, but they don't have the air of someone who is truly VILE to their core. Even Rodney in his women speeches seems to just be coming from an extremely misguided place and have genuine unawareness of what he is saying and it not ACTUALLY trying to **** all over an entire gender. Mike while being trashy has not actually went in on any people in the game or groups of people IRL. Even when he was fighting with Rodney he didn't act like he thought Rodney was a lesser life form. Whenever Jenn talks, you can just feel the vitriol seeping out of her body and you know that she thinks the person she's talking about is less than nothing and it's disgusting. I've rarely wanted to punch a Survivor in the throat the way I want to punch Jenn.
