And to answer the question in the OP, no. She gets the praise that she does because she's becoming a legend. And she;s deserving to be one at this point. It's not like she hasn't worked her ass off to the point where she is.

I do agree with the point about the praise breeding bitterness and complexes among certain sets, but that's neither here nor there I suppose because people that are legitimately annoyed and bothered by someone being well liked by other people typically have other centered reasons to begin with aside from just simply feeling as if the praise is unjustified.

The notion that the praise prevents others from shining is just dumb though as it goes off the assumption that if people weren't talking about Bey, they would be praising x, y, z act and we don't know that.

I wouldn't say Beyonce doesn't deserve any praise.
Some of the praise she gets is well deserved.

But some of the praises are a bit extra.
And it's come to the point that if you don't agree with those praises it's like you're committing a crime.

Her PR team is ******. Trying to give them recognition for people, magazines, celebrities, etc. praising Bey makes you sound beyond pressed.

The fact is that internet stans only care about their faves and how much recognition they get. And in stan culture, someone praising your fave means they're better then *fill in the blank*, that's the logic. And when the base of stan culture revolves around stanning for chart positions and numbers, to get praised and viewed on a higher pedestal than those who currently get better stats in those areas seem unfathomable. Personal problem. People also think their personal opinions should be the standard opinion.

Beyonce gets the deserved amount of praise. No one is running around here calling her the best selling, best writing, best dancing, best looking, most interesting entertainer to ever grace the Earth. She get's praised for what she does best. Perform, sing, and work. If your fave is not getting the amount of praise you feel they deserve, perhaps you should seek out the media and inquire as to why, instead of bitching about why people love Beyonce, despite her lack of new age hits.
