Seriously though to all of you. LET your ego out of this and realize Zayn is doing what's best for him. Be disappointed all you like but the band was going to break up after the fifth album anyway; so I don't understand the high horse attitude around here like he's worthless now.

Animosity towards Zayn is undeserved considering we still don't know ****. But yes, the nature of his departure would kind of be disrespectful if his reasoning wasn't genuine. If it was planned, then fans absolutely should have been given an opportunity to say goodbye.

Can I ask why people are so surprised and disappointed that Zayn has solo music when he's been in the studio with Naughty Boy for months? People are acting like Zayn walked into the studio three days ago to make an album when he's been jamming around in the studio for ages before any of this even happened.

Of course the band was going to break up..boybands don't last long It's just how he went about leaving. I'm all for hearing a solo album from him, but that doesn't make how he left correct. And good for him, if he truly needed to step back fine. But don't step back because you can't deal with fame and then go solo the next minute. Just say you hated the direction the group is going in and be real about it.

And it's not a lack of understanding here. Ya'll are just crying over spilled milk when Zayn is doing what's best for him. He owes nothing more to the fans now that he's out of the band. If he wants to clarify, then that's great; clearly he does care. If he doesn't, oh well. Worst things have happened. The entitlement from the fans is getting too much.

That's what I figured but it's like as soon as Zayn left, way too many people either forgot that he had been in the studio for ages before this, or immediately changed their mind about his solo music and are now treating it like this horrible thing that shouldn't be happening.
