This whole TIDAL thing is a mess and I'm glad Gaga hasn't really supported it. It just feels like an ego boost for the people involved and it isn't really fair for the fans if they expect them to pay £20 to listen to music that isn't available on Spotify
It depends: if you compare a 128kbps .mp3 vs CD quality it is noticeable, but if you start comparing 320kbps .mp3 or iTunes purchases vs CD quality I don't think anyone would notice

Pretty much. Perhaps with a really high quality pair of headphones one may be able to distinguish between the two, but for the most part, it sounds much the same.
Yep, and this doesn't even account for ear fatigue either which happens when you listen to music in sessions over and over.
Gaga could have four #1s and sell 6M albums next era, and her celebrity status would still be questioned because she didn't have as many #1s as Katy and Rihanna or as many album sales as Taylor and Adele. Like, JFC.
The funny part is that they don't realize that their pressedness only helps to keep her relevant.
