As quick as WPs are issued, I figured the turn around time would be around the same. I guess there's a not of help requests to sort through.

Lol I had the same exact mind-set until I found out the mods communicate with one another before responding to a help request, so that may be the reason it usually takes a bit more time.

I'm pretty sure actual deletion of accounts isn't possible. In that case only a permaban can be given to you.

The mods can delete all your posts and account info but your account will still be there.

That's what I heard too.. but I find that weird because on most forums I'm on it gives you the option to delete your account... this forum doesn't.

Also in your profile settings > account info it says:
