For a few entries now with the comments I have mentioned how one doesn’t have to get all diary detail with information on why this is your favorite song; your entry goes in that direction of what you mean. Your entry is fairly short, but it provides that something that makes me actually get into that connection of the song with you. For you, you chose “Marry The Night” because it is a most recent favorite song due to how it resonated your feelings about moving away to college away from your usual norm. This entry opened up eyes to a whole new world. I absolute love Crazy in Love, it is one of my favorite Bey songs, but I always just associated it as a good song. I never once gave a thought as to how this song could really impact someone’s life besides the fact it is a good song and a way to express one’s love to someone. Your entry touched me and made me open my eyes for this song and the definition of love. Love is defined differently to each and every person, and those definitions can stem from experiences they have seen and heard of what love is. For you love kind of had a negative meaning and anything other than that just seemed unreal, or as you put it fictional. Then this song came along and brought to your attention a whole new other kind of love and how powerful it can be; both in the definition sense and feeling. It taught you there is other levels to love than to what you thought you knew.

I have never even heard of this group before, but I am now becoming a fan of the song. I too identify myself as an introvert and have always felt a little more comfort just being by myself in the dark from the rest of the world. So I can even identity with you on why you would be connected with the song. I feel the positivity in the beat of the song while still realizing that the lyrics are darker. It brings this sense of instability in what is usually not felt in people who are introverted, really speaking about me.

To answer your question, Kitt: when I first joined ATRL I wanted to be a part of big stan communities, like the Lambs, but it didn't really sit right with me.
