Okay, let’s have some real talk. As much as I love this song and as much as I am a fan for you, remember I am rooting for you, this seemed more like a Wikipedia summary of the song to be included in like Mary’s Base Bio. You explained why the song came about for Mary and how it relates to her, as well as, how the beat of the song can make you feel; but how does it all relate to you? “Mary is telling you to put your drama aside & to love one another, if only for one night. It promotes positivity & good vibes, which is what I'm all about when I'm not being a shady bitch.” Interesante. I would have loved for you to continue from there. How does this song really get you away from being a shady bitch? Bitch is such a negative word by the way, you’re not a bitch. How does it really give you positive and good vibes? As said with Posh and GotSkill, I just want more and it doesn’t have to be all in diary detail. I’ve been sensing an e-wall built up with you, but for a subtle instance in this entry; I saw a peek over that wall.

I gotta admit that it was an interesting read, definitely expected a Brandy song (justice for the victim), but this was well written and to the point.

Your entry is fairly short, but it provides that something that makes me actually get into that connection of the song with you. This song, especially its production, just makes you feel so good that it takes you on an Escapade to the times where things were best/care free/worry free for you to just be you. I can sense that and I can feel that. I do wish there was a little more, but nevertheless I feel the connection with you.

It's all so nostalgic and relatable; the Janet upbringing, our mama's being the culprit, the cassette tapes. Escapade is euphoric and Rhythm Nation is my favorite album of hers. Also...'If' is my favorite song of all time.

I feel like you could have elaborated a little more, talked about the melody, why you used to prefer the production over the lyrics, just something more.

You incorporated every aspect into a little paragraph which speaks volumes compared to others in this competition who talked a lot but still couldn’t really explain why it was their favorite song. For that …

I’ve touched on this in another entry I believe, but it’s hard to choose just one favorite song of all time. There are different songs for different situations that can resonate a feeling with you. For you, you chose “Marry The Night” because it is a most recent favorite song due to how it resonated your feelings about moving away to college away from your usual norm. All is fine and dandy, I got that connection and can relate with you on it. Personally, however, I dislike that you chose what is most recent. Since this challenge is about one particular song, and this may sound contradictory to what I said in the beginning, I wish you would have dug a little deeper to choose that one song that could triumph Marry The Night in any instance. You know what I mean? You say this song allows you to speak more with clarity, but why is that not the case with the other songs. It just leaves me wanting to know more about the others than this.

I would've liked to be made aware of how you ran into this song (if you weren't a big fan of the artist already) or your first impressions on it, though. Very nice presentation, btw.

Just like Umich's, it felt like you could have elaborated a little more, you didn't get into the production and melody at all for example.

But the fact that you felt the need to mention the other songs shows to me that you were not really sure which one to actually use. In my opinion you should have gone with the song that is really your favorite song and not just because it’s the most recent one. Still, everything else was great.

Note: Although I dislike Bey as an artist, majority of her music, her "songwriting", ethics etc - I do actually love Crazy In Love, a lot. The story about you detesting love was a little confusing at first but I kind of read between the lines and I understand that this song was sort of a form of escapism for you, a sort of audio window into a different world where love is everything you live and breathe. I appreciate that honesty.

This entry opened up eyes to a whole new world. I absolute love Crazy in Love, it is one of my favorite Bey songs, but I always just associated it as a good song. I never once gave a thought as to how this song could really impact someone’s life besides the fact it is a good song and a way to express one’s love to someone. Your entry touched me and made me open my eyes for this song and the definition of love. Love is defined differently to each and every person, and those definitions can stem from experiences they have seen and heard of what love is. For you love kind of had a negative meaning and anything other than that just seemed unreal, or as you put it fictional. Then this song came along and brought to your attention a whole new other kind of love and how powerful it can be; both in the definition sense and feeling. It taught you there is other levels to love than to what you thought you knew.

You did great. I mean, there's nothing really else for me to say since I believe you've covered all my points that I like to see in this challenge. Good job and am glad to know you're staying! On ATRL I mean, idk about results.

I don't know you very well as an ATRLer, but this entry just made me realize that you're a very very strong contestant. Other than the basic formatting, it was the best entry I've read so far this season. You just raised the bar (and I hope Umich is taking notes).
I'm sitting here at my school's library, with that iconic song in mind and struggling hard to NOT start doing the Beyoncé walk in front of all the other students...

I loved the fact that you brought your personality in this one opposed to some others who tried to sound very serious but left out their ATRL lingo. I see a lot of improvement. Slay.

Then, the feeling if you and I are on some LSD type drug and we’ve discovered the meaning of life. From the song being called “Let It Take You” and then you providing many scenarios in which it took you is something that is really powerful for a song to do. Everything about this entry kept me guessing, but I feel in love with it all.

Again this entry seemed to be more about the song than you're relation to it. I liked the final concluding lines where you explained how you were introverted and how you can relate that to the song. It would have been nice to hear more of that and more about you as a person as well as how great the song is. This felt very genuine though and I can definitely tell it's a well loved songs of yours, so good job on that.

I have never even heard of this group before, but I am now becoming a fan of the song. I too identify myself as an introvert and have always felt a little more comfort just being by myself in the dark from the rest of the world. So I can even identity with you on why you would be connected with the song. I feel the positivity in the beat of the song while still realizing that the lyrics are darker. It brings this sense of instability in what is usually not felt in people who are introverted, really speaking about me.

Sis, you know I like you. But this has got to stop. How many more times are you going to join a game then flop before it even gets going. What makes this funnier is the fact you came in so cocky at the start telling people to mind their weaves. You know I just had to tug at you now a little biT. You were damn immune too, all you had to do was stay send something, anything. The presence hasn't been felt this season and so I don't feel bad about you leaving tbh. I think I speak for a lot of people on ATRL and the judges here when I say you have so much potential, your personality is unique and great but you just need to put the effort in.

To answer your question, Kitt: when I first joined ATRL I wanted to be a part of big stan communities, like the Lambs, but it didn't really sit right with me. So, I just reverted back to stanning for the Spice Girls, as I always have, even through their fan count here is minimal and they are never really discussed.

Marry The Night IS my favorite song, though. As all those other songs are. I don't have one that's predominant but I decided to speak about MTN cause, being it the newest addiction to the group, is the one I can remember all that it inspires in me better. Anyway, thank you for the comments!

@Cupid I only incorporated the first half (intro) of my entry to help the judges & contestants alike, understand why my choice of song is clearly superior to all the other entries
P.S I didn't forget about the ethics comment, check yo twitter.
