TFM is where all the worst monsters came from. BTW fans were harmless ...well....to others
bngjn;
I didn't pay attention to others during TFM era; I was excited it for myself, so I guess I was catching up during the BTW era. But BTW really did bring in the "PEACE & LOVE!!! DON'T FIGHT!!! OUR MOTHER DOESN'T WANT THAT!!" kinda crowd.
But Paper Gangsta, Paparazzi & Poker Face > Summerboy
The Fame is too good lol. The only bad songs are probably Brown Eyes (thanks to the horrible production) and maybe I Like It Rough. Sigh. The discography rate was so much fun.
I was BOPPING so hard on YouTube to this the night before TFM released in the US cuz I didn't know illegal downloads were a thing. I remember BLASTING it and my mom was so mad.

Alejandro is definitely the best song on TFM.
Yeah. The Monsters all seem to love ILIR, though, but it's kinda the only filler song on the album.
Alejandro used to be my fave, and probs my fave Gaga song period, but Monster overtook it as my favorite after a long night of me playing it on Tap Tap Revenge. A semi-drunk night a couple years ago confirmed that, as well.
This sounds so good live. Sure, it's a bigger Madonna rip-off than Born This Way but it was kinda dumb to not make her peak era longer instead of rushing straight into BTW. Monster and Speechless would have been good too.
The BTW message was exactly what everyone had been screaming at her to spread due to her relentless Fame Monster troll/fans I'm glad she did it so that the evil trolls could be forced overboard.
Don't call my name,
Don't call my name
Alejandro
I'm not your babe,
I'm not your babe
Fernando
Don't wanna kiss
Don't wanna touch
Just smoke my cigarette and hush
Don't call my name,
Don't call my name

Tell them how you feel girls!
Work your blonde (Jean) Benet Ramsey
We’ll haunt like Liberace
Find your freedom in the music
Find your Jesus
Find your Kubrick
You will never fall apart
Diana, you’re still in our hearts
Never let you fall apart
Together we’ll dance in the dark
