it depends
hard on female hoes or male hoes??? or both in general???
because i was under the impression islanders love hoes
the hyper-sexualization in the music and dancing...you need to be hoeish
The theme of HOH this year is "Stop giving these hoes attention" meaning that under no circumstances is any hoe behavior to be looked at on a large scale. Hoes have their place in society and anything beyond that is insub*****dination. So yes, we love hoes, but not that much.

I wouldn't necessarily credit the AALIYAH album itself more so than I would credit Aaliyah the artist and fashion icon for her impact on Ciara, Tinashe, and even Rihanna to an extent.
I don't see Aaliyah's impact on BANKS or FKA twigs. Would you care to elaborate?
This sounds just like a reject from the Red Album.
AAliyah and her impact and influence on music is so overrated. She was talented but lets not act like she paved the way for anyone or was any form a trailblazer. The only thing she did was made Timbaland and Missy mainstream. I can give her that.

My family was literally talking about this yesterday.
In modern day R&B, Aaliyah is definitely a trailblazer. Call her overrated if you want, but these labels are either blatantly or low-key trying to market their new female artists as young Aaliyahs, Marys and Beyonces, even more so Aaliyah now than the other two.
How can you deny Aaliyah's impact here:
Sorry, but these girls are looking and/or sounding like Aaliyah right now.

When I was on her soundcloud last year I instantly got Aaliyah from this.
Sounds like something she would have recorded.
I don't see why it's so hard to imagine that her music and style of singing inspired some the R&B girls of today.
Return To Sender sounds like something that could have been recorded during the Red album sessions.

People just hate giving credit to her because they are usually stuck on those troll comments like "Aaliyah would have been bigger than Rihanna and Beyonce" instead of thinking objectively. We can post about twenty instances of Aaliyah's impact on current day R&B. It's not that hard to find. People should just give credit where it's due. It's not going to hurt anyone.
