pregnant then marriage
i don't want to rush into marriage but i think having a child first is better in my opinion

and i'm the youngest of 3 on my mothers side but the youngest of 5 on my fathers (he's positive he has another child though...i wish i could meet her)

Yeah I'm 23, but my dad is too old fashioned, and my mom is TOO laid back lol.
I remember a time I brought a friend home (like a legit friend, nothing else) and I'm talking to her on the porch and my mom walks out like;

"So <corny nickname I've had since I was a kid> is this my new daughter in law?"
The girl:

Me:
So embarassing lol.

Another time I'm chilling with my girl at the time on the porch again. When she leaves, my mom subtly walks over and drops a box of Lifestyles in my lap (She's a nurse and sometimes they have to do these sex ed talks in schools)
I always had to sneak chicks in and out the house

My parents have never been strict but my mom has always been the more conservative of the two. My dad is more laid back and nonchalant.

Aww. Your mom sounds like a sweetheart. My mom wouldn't react that way, she would probably freak out. Same with my dad.

In fact, they expect me to be single until I have a Masters degree & a stable job. Sounds like a good plan to me.

i want to grow old with my children and grandchildren and i want my children to get the most of their years with my mother...she's only 48 but still

I wouldn't necessarily credit the AALIYAH album itself more so than I would credit Aaliyah the artist and fashion icon for her impact on Ciara, Tinashe, and even Rihanna to an extent.

I don't see Aaliyah's impact on BANKS or FKA twigs. Would you care to elaborate?

I want to get married and have kids someday, just not in the next 5-10 years. Don't worry though, I have an unrealistic plan of how my romantic life will unfold.

Her album is def inspired by AALIYAH. From 'Brain' to 'Drowning' to '**** Em Only We Know'. BANKS really based her whole style of alternative R&B music off that album.

FKA used Aaliyah's kind of Futuristic visuals per say IMO. We Need A resolution is something I could see FKA recreating.
