You really forget the power of the shiny ball syndrome. When something is a surprise or executing in its original form then bandwagoners look at it differently.
I could see her sales being higher had things gone as planned ESPECIALLY now that everything is in such a lull and people are waiting for something new...she could have marketed it in a better way had she done it as planned.
Oh wellz. legend still is the most successful female of all time.
Collecting ha #2 peaks and #2 in' on our faves is effortless for madonna at this point.

Stop bringing up that point; it has nothing to do with poor sales. Britney Jean leaked entirely way before it was released and that has never been pointed to as a reason it underperformed. Yet here we are and every Madonna fans blames the leak (which happens to everyone) for poor sales. It's just deceptive at this point.
